thoughts, observations, and commentary from an entrepreneur / CEO / husband / dad / consumer / producer / fan / advisor / participant

Late last year, we had the idea to launch a blog for each of the “Labs” at Viget – strategy, design, development, and marketing. Early this year, as we sat down to do it, we decided we should relaunch viget.com as well, and put it all on ExpressionEngine. Last week, we launched it all, just in time for SXSWi (I am writing this from Austin, in fact), and the response so far has been great (thanks, everyone!).

I wrote a longer post about our blog plan on the redesign FourLabs (i.e., “all about Viget”) blog — I welcome any thoughts or feedback you have on the concept …

Not only do I totally hear you on the under/over consuming paradox (so well put, btw), but even more so, I wanted to stop by to say: I love what you and your team have done withe the Viget site and blog family. A full congratulations from me and from JESS3 — Jesse says hello and that he is feeling your design as well
I am currently helping my own company go through a similar process (New Media Strategies; design a la JESS3) and wanted to let you know how inspiring what you have done is.
We have been kicking around a number of similar ideas and then someone said: have you seen what Viget has done? Boo-ya. You all definitely get it. Can’t wait to share what we end up with in the coming months.
Hope to make it for SMC this week and congrats on the great design, content and team!
@Leslie - wow, thanks for these comments! Hope to see you at the event tomorrow.
